I must admit, after being in this industry for 20+ years, I’m rarely “wowed”. Especially with hair extensions. Clients expect a complete and PERFECT transformation when it comes to having extensions. They want quality hair, that looks and feels like their own, meets their budget, and stays in good condition without frizzing, tangling and fast wear.

This particular client came to me looking for length and bulk as hers was thinning and unable to grow long. We chose tape-ins for the time it took to install, maintain and she would always be wearing them down, with the option of being able to move them up and reuse them.

The hair is also European, which is important for clients with thinner textured hair, Asian hair is very thick and straight, and we needed something that closely matched her texture and weight.

The application was easily, and even though the tone for her blonde was a little more gold then hers, I was easily able to tone it with purple shampoo and conditioner. It took to styling easily, and I was able to curl it no problem without high heat.

Overall her appointment took less then 3 hours to wash her hair & blowdry, install 2.5 packs of tape ins, and style. Her maintenance will be to come in every 6-8 weeks to check on them, and remove and reinstall after 3-4 months.
