PAYMENT INFORMATION

For all commercial services we follow the non-union Production Industry Standard.

For all Salon, Studio or Special Event & Weddings services I accept Cash, Credit card, Venmo, PayPal or Apple Pay as forms of payment. I do not accept checks for salon, studio and special events EVER or under any circumstances. No exceptions will be made so please have your affairs in order PRIOR to your service date.

Please note: If paying with Apple Pay, Your account must be set up prior and able to make an instant transfer, I can not accept a "pending payment" as form of payment.

THEFT OF SERVICES DISCLAIMER

At The Backstage Stylist, we take the integrity of our business and the value of our services very seriously. Please be aware that theft of services is a crime under New York State law. We have a zero tolerance policy for any attempt to defraud us out of payment for services rendered.

According to New York State law:

• Services intentionally unpaid under $1,000 are petit-larceny and considered a misdemeanor.

• Services intentionally unpaid over $1,000 are grand larceny and considered a felony. 

Both misdemeanors and felonies are arrestable offenses. Both convictions stay on your record forever, one is side eyed when looking for a job and one prevents you from voting,  obtaining employment and even entrance into certain countries. 

We reserve the right to pursue legal action to the fullest extent of the law for any unpaid services. 

While we don’t enjoy sending the police to your house or place of employment to arrest you, we will if you force us to chase our money down.
