My first vivid color

Did my first ever #vivid color on my sister friend today! I love that my besties are super cool and want to do wild stuff, and so grateful they trust me enough to let me play!

THANK YOU SUZY!

This sexy babe had virgin hair, not a drop of color or chemical services on it of any kind so it was a painless process.

I used Moroccan oil clay lightener with 30 volume, which lifted her natural pigment to a golden blonde. I probably could have left it on a little longer but honestly bleach scares the f out of me!

Manic Panic semi permanent color in Cleo Rose gave this gorgeous rose pink. I haven’t used this since I did my own bleached hair in 1994 and was so excited to have my hands in it again! That was the first and only other time I did a vivid color, I wish I had pics!

We are hoping to get maybe 10 washes out of this so we will see how long it lasts. 🤞next time we are going to use Pravana or Pulp Riot for a more permanent color.

My vivid stylist friends, how did I do? Any suggestions?!
